Phase 1 — Upstairs
Collect the first twelve upstairs gems and reach the downstairs entrance.
- Yellow beam destruction
- Teal beam pushing
- Red barrier removal
- Green wall travel
- Orange teleporting
- Gem holders
Match this layout: Begin at the Level 1 entrance. This is the complete first upstairs collection phase, including yellow destruction, teal pushing, red barriers, green wall travel, and orange transfers.
Open one clue at a time. The complete sequence stays inside the solution below.
Hint 1
Beam colors grant different actions; collect the first gem before opening the map route.
Hint 2
Retrieve gems from holders when leaving finished branches, while keeping the beams needed for the next crossing active.
Hint 3
The last three upstairs gems use intersections: orange-yellow for Gem 11, then green and yellow for Gem 12.
Show full solution
- Go north two screens and enter the eastern alcove for Gem 1. Put it in the holder west by the elevator. Stand in its yellow beam and act south to destroy the rocks and reach the map.
The first gem supplies the destruction beam for the opening route.
- Go south one screen, stand in yellow above the moving device, destroy it south, then destroy the western blocking rock. Retrieve the yellow holder gem. Through the opening, go south two screens and put a gem in the teal holder.
The destruction opens the teal branch; taking back the gem preserves the inventory.
- While in teal, push the upper rock east until blocked, then push the lower rock south and collect Gem 2. Retrieve the teal holder gem; return north two screens, east one, then south one to the entrance.
Teal pushing clears the second gem’s alcove.
- Power the red holder and remove the red barrier by acting south in its beam; retrieve the gem. Beyond that barrier, power green and travel east through the wall. Go south one screen and power yellow.
The red and green abilities open the next branch while the yellow holder supplies its destruction line.
- Go north one screen, stand at the green-yellow intersection, and destroy the eastern rock. Go north again; in yellow, destroy the western rock, then the second rock once the moving device raises it, then the device. Collect Gem 3.
The device must move the second rock into the destruction line before it is destroyed.
- Go east one screen, power orange, and act south twice to reach Gem 4. In orange, act west three times to its yellow intersection. Destroy the northern alcove rock, then act north again to enter. Stay in yellow and destroy the nearby moving device to collect Gem 5.
The orange transfers and yellow destruction reach the two neighboring alcoves.
- Go north one screen and fill its holder. Go south into orange, transfer west four times, then north one screen. Enter the eastern alcove and power the holder supplying teal and yellow.
The new holder opens the next pushing and destruction branch.
- Go south two screens, east one through the green wall route, then south one. In yellow, destroy the upper two rocks; in teal, push the third rock south until blocked and collect Gem 6. Retrieve the holder gem.
The two beam abilities remove the three blockers differently.
- Go north one screen and east one; power the holder for two teal beams. From the lower teal beam, push the rock north until blocked. Walk south, west twice, then north into the green-lit wall to collect Gem 7. From the upper teal beam, push the rock east and retrieve the holder gem.
The rock push and wall crossing open the seventh gem, and the second push clears the return.
- Go west one screen and north one to orange. Transfer east, then south, and follow the path north one screen. Fill both holders for green. At the green-yellow overlap, walk west into the wall and destroy the device north when it is above you. Go north for Gem 8 and retrieve both holder gems.
The overlap combines wall access with a timed destruction line.
- Go south one screen into orange and transfer west. Walk north, west, south, west, south into the middle hallway; go south two screens and west one, then power green. When the device is at the bottom, enter the wall east; when it is at the top, leave west and collect Gem 9. Reverse the crossing and retrieve the holder gem.
The moving device determines the safe entry and exit timing.
- Go west one screen and north one; power red. Remove its barrier and follow the beam north to orange. Act west to remove the next barrier, then perform orange transfers south, north, west, north, west to collect Gem 10.
Red clears the gates while orange reaches the gem tile.
- Transfer east four times, go north one screen, and power yellow; retrieve the gem in the eastern alcove while there. Go south one screen, stand at the orange-yellow intersection, and act south to reach Gem 11. Destroy the rock east from yellow to leave.
The intersecting beams open the eleventh gem and its return route.
- Go south one screen. In green, enter the wall west and go south for Gem 12; in yellow, destroy the rock south to leave. Go west one screen and retrieve the red-holder gem.
The last new gem uses green access followed by yellow destruction.
- Stand in green, go east until blocked, then north out of the wall at the removed red barrier; retrieve its gem. Reach orange, transfer east four times, and retrieve the two gems above. Retrieve the remaining active yellow-holder gem.
These returns recover the gems previously left powering the traversal route.
- With all twelve gems in your possession, take the room’s elevator down.
The downstairs entrance requires the complete twelve-gem inventory.
If the sequence stops working
- Destroy the moving device near Gem 3 only after it has raised the second rock into the yellow beam.
- Retrieving every powered gem as soon as it is placed can switch off a beam still needed for the route.
- The downstairs phase starts with all twelve gems carried, rather than left upstairs in holders.
Sources and scope
These instructions cover the layout described above. A similar-looking board may need a different sequence.
Phase 2 — Downstairs
Collect the rod of alabaster and five new downstairs gems.
- Rod manual pushing
- Restricted turning
- Teal beam pushing
- Moving devices
- Gem holders
- Green wall travel
Match this layout: Begin after descending with twelve gems. This phase introduces the rod of alabaster, a tall gem stack, moving devices, and five additional numbered gems.
Open one clue at a time. The complete sequence stays inside the solution below.
Hint 1
The rod adds manual pushing but prevents a 90-degree turn; use opposite-direction inputs to face the next push.
Hint 2
The teal beam must be pushed into the upper hallway with a gem stack before the trapped device route is solved.
Hint 3
Before leaving, recover the gems still powering the hallway, stack holder, and orange route.
Show full solution
- Go west one screen for the map. Put all twelve gems in the holders, remove the red barrier from its beam, and retrieve them. Go south one screen, power orange, and transfer south to the checkpoint; take the rod of alabaster.
The twelve-gem gate opens the phase and the rod supplies manual pushing.
- Go south and manually push the first rock south twice. Go east above the second; input north then south to turn around and push it south five tiles to the next screen. Go west of the next rock, input west then east to turn, and push it east four tiles to the next screen.
The rod’s turn restriction is resolved with an opposite-direction turn before each new push.
- Get west of the rock above, face east using west then east, and push the rock-gem row east twice. Collect new Gem 1 from the eastern alcove. Go south one screen and push the gem south, returning to the elevator.
The row push moves the first new gem into its reachable alcove.
- Go east two screens and south two, then fill the holder. Go west one screen, turn to face east beside the rock, and push it east onto the second holder to activate green. Go east one screen, travel north through green until blocked, then push the rock west twice and collect new Gem 2.
The paired holders open the green route to the second gem.
- Go west one screen to the teal device’s east side. Push it west once and south four tiles, then fill its holder. From teal push the rock east, then manually push it to reach new Gem 3; collect the orb east of it.
The repositioned beam and rod clear the third gem’s route.
- Stand above the teal holder gem and push it south manually. Put another gem in the holder and push the stack south; this moves teal into the upper hallway. Use the full map to follow its position.
The growing stack moves the beam to a remote working row.
- Add another gem. When the horizontal device is below teal, push the stack south; add one more, then push when that device is east of teal. Continue adding gems and pushing until the rock below the beam moves south once.
The timed pushes trap the horizontal device east of the beam and reach the blocking rock.
- Go east one screen, north two, west one to that rock and manually push it west once. Return to the holder and push the stack south once more; go to the beam’s east side.
Teal now shares a row with the rock for the horizontal operation.
- Wait for the two right vertical devices to align at the bottom and push the rock-beam row west once. Wait for another alignment and push west again to free the first; when the second reaches the bottom row, push west again.
The timed row pushes release the two devices from their alcoves.
- Collect the alcove’s gems above, including new Gem 4. Manually push the horizontal device north to reach all of them. Go south one screen, east one, north one; wait until the horizontal device is at the right edge, then push it east out of the route.
The freed devices expose the fourth gem and the remaining holder gems.
- Go west two screens and recover the hallway gem. Wait for the top vertical device to align with the west opening and push it west into the red-beam room. Move it to that room’s far west side; when it reaches the southwest corner, push it west. Go east three screens to collect new Gem 5.
The device pushes the fifth gem past the red barrier.
- Go west two screens to the red-room opening. When the second vertical device passes, push it east repeatedly until it lines up with the top hallway opening.
This prepares access to a further trapped holder gem.
- Go west one screen, south one, and use orange to transfer through the wall. Go south two screens and east one to the device’s west side. When it aligns with you, push it east three tiles; collect the freed gem two screens west.
The device frees the gem left in the remote branch.
- Recover the last two powered gems: one by the tall stack’s holder and one in the orange holder below the red room. Take the elevator back upstairs.
All original and five new gems must travel into the next phase.
If the sequence stops working
- The rod changes turning behavior; facing the new push direction may require west-east or north-south reversal first.
- The three westward device-release pushes depend on bottom-row alignment.
- Leaving powered gems downstairs prevents reaching the final twenty-gem total.

Phase 3 — Upstairs Return
Collect the three remaining upstairs gems.
- Rod manual pushing
- Moving devices
- Green wall travel
- Red barrier removal
- Gem holders
Match this layout: Begin after the downstairs collection; seventeen gems and the rod have returned upstairs.
Open one clue at a time. The complete sequence stays inside the solution below.
Hint 1
The rod now lets you move a beam device itself.
Hint 2
Keep the secondary holder powered while moving green so the beam remains active.
Show full solution
- From the elevator go south one screen and west one. Push the upper-corridor rock north three tiles. Go to the northwest corner above the horizontal device to turn around; push it south twice. When it is directly above the trapped gem, push south again and collect new upstairs Gem 1 one screen below.
The rod frees the first gem by moving the device onto its blocking position.
- Go east two screens and south two; fill the holder that powers yellow and the green beam to be moved. Go west one screen and fill the green holder. Travel east through green until blocked and manually push the beam east; collect new upstairs Gem 2.
The earlier holder keeps the moved green device active.
- Use green to return to the entrance and recover that holder gem. Go east and recover the second powered gem. Go north one screen and east one; push the lower red-beam device south twice and east twice.
This restores the inventory and positions red for the final gem.
- Go north one screen, west one, north one, west one, south one, east one and power green. Travel east two screens through green and fill the holder on the left to activate the moved red beam.
The relocated red device needs its new power source.
- Use green to go west one screen, then south one. Stand in red and remove the barrier to collect new upstairs Gem 3.
The moved beam now reaches the previously inaccessible gate.
- Recover the red-holder and green-holder gems using the green route, then take the elevator down.
All twenty gems are now carried into the finale.
If the sequence stops working
- Moving green before powering the secondary holder switches off the route while the device moves.
- Position the red device south twice and east twice before powering its new holder.

Phase 4 — Downstairs Finish
Complete the Level 1 objective with twenty gems.
- Gem holders
- Level completion
Match this layout: Begin after the upstairs rod return, with all twelve original gems, five downstairs gems, and three additional upstairs gems carried.
Open one clue at a time. The complete sequence stays inside the solution below.
Hint 1
The earlier phases supply 12 + 5 + 3 gems.
Show full solution
- From the downstairs elevator, go south two screens and fill the twenty gem holders.
The complete inventory activates the Level 1 finish.
If the sequence stops working
- If fewer than twenty gems are carried, revisit the powered holders and gem recoveries described in the earlier phases.
